ASA Helper Certificate

This course is open to candidates who are at least 14 years of age and will take on average 6 – 8 hours to complete.

The aim of the course is to equip the candidate with the very basic technical knowledge and water skills to help them assist a session led by a qualified ASA Teacher.

ASA Lane Coach Certificate

This course is open to candidates who already hold a current ASA Level 1 Assistant Teacher certificate or equivalent and will take a minimum 8 hours to complete.

The aim of the course is to equip the candidate with technical and safety knowledge to enable them to coach a lane with up to 6 swimmers under the guidance of a qualified ASA Club Coach.
